Adult Cohort at Waterfront Museum 07th -10th May

Our latest Adult cohort will be running after the bank holiday weekend from the 7th to the 10th of May. The project itself is designed to help and support adults over the age of 25 develop the skills they need to find suitable employment, volunteering or further training opportunities. Here at the 'Tune into your potential' project we are passionate and committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent adults making the leap into work. Our week long cohort is run in a friendly and relaxed environment and our tutors specialise in using music as a way to combat the anxiety that can come with trying something new. The confidence building aspect of the course is designed to foster and encourage self belief and positivity about your future. Each group is set a challenge of working with our tutors to write and create a song from scratch - no music experience necessary! During the course of the week you will also gain a nationally recognised qualification, work in groups to develop communication skills and have access to volunteering, work experience, employment opportunities and education and training progressions. If you are interested or know someone who may benefit from this project please get in touch. We look forward to working with you soon!
